The John Ball Zoo is one such attraction, and it features over 2000 animals. There is also a tram, a zipline and more that you and your family can experience together. One of the city’s many nicknames is Furniture City. Its Latin motto translates to mean ‘strength in activity,’ and there are quite a few activities to be enjoyed in the beautiful city of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Leonardo Da Vinci’s Horse is a landmark you just have to see if you’re in Grand Rapids. It’s part of the Frederick Meijer Gardens that I mentioned in the last article. It’s an attraction in and of itself, so make sure you don’t miss it when you stop by the gardens. The bronze horse is 24 feet tall, and it is based off a drawing by Lenoardo Da Vinci himself.
